NEW DIRECTION
Innovation and human-centeredness in the post-global era.

IDE is the annual event that connects business and academia around the themes of innovation. Now in its ninth edition, IDE offers a dynamic format for cross-sector dialogue, dedicated to sharing concrete experiences, critical challenges and innovative solutions that define contemporary industrial competitiveness.

Unique in its approach, IDE adopts a flipped model: companies take the stage to present their case studies, while academia listens, learns and interacts from the audience. This reversed setup encourages meaningful knowledge exchange, grounded in real needs and applied expertise.

NINTH EDITION
The post-globalization challenge: rethinking the future of innovation

The narrative of a globalized world, fueled by the digital revolution and the hyperconnectivity that permeates our lives, is undergoing a profound crisis. The models that have guided development, growth and innovation over recent decades are now revealing their limits, exposing economic, social and cultural fragilities.

More than ever, this crisis calls for resources to be placed at the service of innovation—not as an end in itself, but as a tool for rethinking the relationship between technology and the human condition. It is necessary to rebalance quantitative and qualitative dimensions, performance and meaning, efficiency and impact, in order to build a new narrative of progress.

In the post-globalization context, innovation is called upon to address unprecedented complexity and growing responsibilities. The challenge is open: imagining and designing the future today requires a critical, systemic and deeply human perspective.
